For San José de Uchupiamonas, the logo is a group of symbols that sums up our daily life. The river is our only way of communicating with other people and the oar enables us to negotiate the meandering River Tuíchi in search for food.

In the widest part of the oar, you will see the sun which marks the seasons and our agricultural activities. Inside the sun is the Chalalán Lagoon encapsulating the moon, which for us symbolises renewed hope.
